HiPath Xpressions supports standard and enhanced messaging features for each communications media.
Voice: Standard voice mail features are enhanced by intelligent call handling capabilities such as auto attendant, call forwarding, customized greetings per call type, and daily greetings which automatically time-out at the day’s end. Voice messages can be easily archived by a user since they come via their email client. Email: Email can be used to send or forward voice and fax attachments. Email can be read to users over the telephone. Fax: Enhanced fax messaging increases privacy because a fax arrives at a user’s desktop, not at an office fax machine. Not only is privacy increased, but users can now control at which fax machine or printer the message is printed, creating mobile access to faxes from anywhere (airport, hotel, etc). SMS: Messages once transferred and managed exclusively by mobile phone can be managed from the HiPath Xpressions inbox.

HiPath Xpressions Compact is a peripheral board designed for the HiPath 3000. Because HiPath Xpressions Compact requires no extra server, installation and management are simple and seamless. Installation and system-wide administration and maintenance are performed via the HiPath 3000 Managed C/E or via the Web Based Management (WBM) system.
The 8-port and 24-port HiPath Xpressions Compact modules have a memory capacity of 100 hours and support up to 500 mail boxes. The 4-port HiPath Xpressions Compact module has memory capacity of 4 hours and supports up to 30 mailboxes. |
